Holistic Dentistry for Health talk was a presentation that I gave as part of the Dental Assistants Association annual conference held in August in Brisbane.

Holistic Dentist Presents An Overview of Holistic Dentistry

It was an honour to be invited to speak and share my experience and expertise about holistic dentistry to members of the dental profession.

On the other hand, it was also challenging and slightly daunting, as speaking to a group of 250 dental nurses about the dangers of amalgam fillings, mercury and fluoride may not have gone down too well. But thankfully I survived unscathed and could even see audience members nodding in agreement as I talked.

Sharing The Holistic Dentistry Message

My aim was to open the eyes of the dental team to the hazards they face every day at work and to show them that there is a different side to dentistry, one that incorporates all facets of health, wellbeing and lifestyle.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience and the feedback from the attendees afterwards was very positive. They showed lots of interest in our green dentistry initiatives and the natural dental care products that we use within our office.

As part of the talk, I presented slides and a huge amount of information that I felt would be very relevant to share with my patients and anyone interested in holistic dentistry and will shortly be releasing a series of short videos based on my talk for you all to enjoy.
